The Foxborough Hill path at the former crossing of the East Kent Light Railway. Council minutes record that gates were erected across the bridleway at this point.

This application on behalf of the British Horse Society was made to Kent County Council under section 53(5) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 on 25 November 2016 to modify the definitive map and statement for the county of Kent by upgrading to bridleway the public footpath EE226 which lies between Foxborough Hill and the Sandwich bypass.
